Miko David

  • Former Marketing Communications Director & Head of Digital for Globe Telecom’s Small and Medium Business Group (SG) where he oversaw all branding, performance marking initiatives, social media activities, as well as data collection and attribution.
  • Lived and worked in Madrid, Spain where he served at the Global New Business HQ of Havas Media. He also worked in the Havas regional office in Singapore as Senior Digital Manager leading digital and social media campaign for several markets.
  • Mentored over a thousand students from all over the world such as Masters students from London Business School and IE Business School in Spain. Former Adjunct Faculty at the National University of Singapore’s Institute of Systems Science (ISS) and part-time lecturer at the Ateneo de Manila University and Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
  • Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IE Business School and a Gold Award recipient when he earned his professional diploma in Asia-Pacific Marketing from the National University of Singapore. He is a graduate of Business Management from the Ateneo de Manila University.

  • Former Digital Performance Lead at Starcom Mediavest Group where he led performance marketing campaigns for Cebu Pacific, Mc Donald’s, Mead-Johnson and Samsung among other brands across 20 markets around the world
  • Experience as One-search Lead for Performics and Digital Specialist with Zenith Optimedia led him to build a Performance Marketing Unit within Starcom Mediavest Group, opening up three-fold business year-on-year
  • Managed over Php 1 BILLION in Online Performance Marketing executions, spanning Display and Programmatic Advertising, Search and Social
  • Led the training of 100+ students at Starcom Mediavest Group University to be certified in Google, Facebook and Programmatic
  • Accredited as a Google Performance Guru (Blue Belt – 1st Batch Globally), and has certifications for Google DoubleClick Search, Campaign Manager, Advanced Search, Display and Video as well as Bing Ads and Facebook Studio Edge

  • Has held several positions in the industry including Business Development Director, Account Management Head and Division Manager at Aspac Creative Communications prior to his new role as Client Service Director for D&G
  • He was also Head of Operations at Unlimited Promotions
  • He also held the position of Head of Students Services at the University of Asia and the Pacific
  • Handled big local and multinational brands like Ginebra San Miguel, Honda Cars, Honda Motorcycles, PLDT, Smart Bro, Oreo, Kawasaki Motorcycles, LBC and Colgate-Palmolive to name a few
  • Won several Tambuli Awards for the brands he handled

  • Award-winning Creative with local and International Awards such as Cannes Chimera, Cannes Lions, LIAA, Spikes Asia, New York Festivals, Citra Pariwara, Kidlat, Araw Awards. First Filipino to win a Cannes Chimera Award in 2014
  • Headed the Creative Department of Saatchi & Saatchi Jakarta for four years garnering numerous awards and new business
  • Worked on campaigns and brands for various Asian markets such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand
  • Former Vice-President of Marketing at SM Retail, Inc. handling the Supermarket, Hypermarket and Savemore Business of SM Markets
  • Created Campaigns for a multitude of categories from automotive, retail, FMCG, telco, and personal care to name a few
  • Teaches Communications at the Meridian International College of Business and Arts
